Itinerary of: 4 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech

Day 1: Fès > Ifrane > Midelt > Errachidia > Ziz Valley > Erfoud > Merzouga:

After breakfast, departure for Midelt through the Middle Atlas Mountains and cedar forest, stopping at Ifrane, a charming ski resort, and Azrou, an important craft center specializing in cedar woodworking. After the Zad pass (2178m / 7146ft), you arrive in Midelt for lunch. Then on to Errachidia via the Tizi N’talghemt pass (the High Atlas range) to the ZIz gorges and on to Errachidia and the Ziz valley, continuing on to the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, overnight at the hotel on half-board basis:

DAY 2: Merzouga > Erg Chebbi > Merzouga:

After breakfast, you’ll take a grand tour of the dunes, passing through : the two Merzouga oases, the nomad depot, the village of Khamlia (village of the blacks), the Mifis mines, the desert plateaus to meet the Berber nomads, the Tissardmine oasis, stop in the village for lunch and then continue to the dunes where you’ll meet the camels who’ll take you for about an hour and a half on the dunes where you can watch the sunset, and then descend to the bivouac. Dinner and overnight in a luxury bivouac with bathroom in the tent:

Day 3: Merzouga > Erfoud > Tinjdad > Gorges de Todra > Boumalne Dades > Gorges de Dades:

After breakfast, departure for the Dades gorges via the Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves. Arrival at the Todra Gorge, where you’ll take a walk in the gorge. After lunch, continuation to the Dades Gorge via Boumalne Dades. Dinner and overnight at hotel:

Day 4: Dades gorges > Dades valley> Kelaa Mgouna > Skoura > Ouarzazate > Marrakech :

After breakfast, return to the Dades Valley, passing through the kasbahs and ksour of the Rose Valley and the Skoura palm grove, where we stop to visit the Ameredile kasbah, then on to Ouarzaztea and Aït Ben Haddou, the kasbah (a UNESCO World Heritage site). After the visit and lunch, departure for Marrakech via the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2260m altitude), arriving in Marrakech at around 6 pm. End of our services.
